I had no idea making my own granola would be this easy. It took me 30 minutes, including baking time and cost me practically nothing. I love granola, but rarely buy it because it is ridiculously expensive (at least I think it is). This was my first time making it so I am sure my granola abilities will continue to improve as I experiment with it more. Do you know one of the many amazing things about granola? There are endless possibilities of what you could create. I already have four or five flavor variations that I want to try. I’ll let you know soon if they turn out as well as they sound:-)So when making the granola I added the dry ingredients together first. Then I added my wet ingredients and mixed everything all together. I sampled it a little as any chef should;-) It was pretty good raw so I was excited to see how it turned out once it had been baked. Pour your mixture onto a cookie sheet and bake it at 325 F for 20-25 minutes. Stir the granola half way through and then check it periodically to make sure it doesn’t burn. I had my oven set to 350 F and the edge of my granola pile got a little crispy… oops:-) Despite the burnt fringe, the final product was still pretty darn good. I have to keep telling myself not to eat it all today, but to spread it out over the next little while. We will see how that goes:-)Here is the recipe! Enjoy! Have fun! Create! See how easy and cheap it is too make this on your own. Buying granola in the store will be a thing of the past.

Wanna know my favorite way to eat granola? Simply granola and milk (almond milk), just like cereal. Though back when I ate dairy yogurt and granola was a pretty close second. What is your favorite way to eat granola?
